In my Hatha class the other day we were talking about enlightenment as on of the goals of yoga (or something like that).

I thought to myself, when the gol is enlightenment, one will probably never be enlightnement.

Your post reminded me of that.The reverse is, when I think I've "got it" there's a good chance I don't. :)


BTW, I'm planning a trip to Charleston for this fall.

This simple quote also takes us beyond - beyond our own concepts and ideas of "getting it." This means letting go of beliefs, of ideology, of fact and opinion... this is not such an easy thing. Some may say it is radical, and very scary. And what is beyond belief? Beyond all that we hold to be true?
