Tuesday's Smile

"There's a statue of the Buddha, very equanimous, except that at the edge of the mouth there's a tiny smile. It's called the "Smile of Unbearable Compassion". That's the place we embrace. If we stretch, we can see the perfection of the universe. Because we can see that we can keep our hearts open.

We do what we can do, without getting burned out by what we can't do. We appreciate the perfection of it - including what we can't do."
