Warming 'Likely' Man-Made, Unstoppable
Climate Scientists Say Global Warming Is 'Very Likely' Caused by Man and Will Be Unstoppable

PARIS - The world's leading climate scientists said global warming has begun, is "very likely" caused by man, and will be unstoppable for centuries, according to a report obtained Friday by The Associated Press.
The scientists using their strongest language yet on the issue said now that world has begun to warm, hotter temperatures and rises in sea level "would continue for centuries" no matter how much humans control their pollution. The report also linked the warming to the recent increase in stronger hurricanes.
"The observed widespread warming of the atmosphere and ocean, together with ice-mass loss, support the conclusion that it is extremely unlikely that global climate change of the past 50 years can be explained without external forcing, and very likely that is not due to known natural causes alone," said the report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change a group of hundreds of scientists and representatives of 113 governments.
The phrase "very likely" translates to a more than 90 percent certainty that global warming is caused by man's burning of fossil fuels. That was the strongest conclusion to date, making it nearly impossible to say natural forces are to blame.

What an opportunity we are granted now and now and now...to change our way of life, to influence others in changing their lives and to become wiser consumers, more compassionate citizens and therefore be the change which we seek.
The proof is irrefutable, now we must become aware of our actions, change our beliefs and allow Mother Earth to heal. Mother Earth heals when we allow ourselves to heal.
"Unstoppable?" We must not resign ourselves to this way of thinking...and at the same time neither should we attach our Self to what we observe in this world. We must simply heal ourselves and Mother Earth will heal too.
Nothing is broken, nothing is wrong, and there is nothing to worry about. Everything is in order.

Using a word like "unstoppable" is from fear-mongering, negative media machine that wouldn't know beauty, joy and love if it bit 'em on their Heinekens. It's one thing to report that we really need to change, its another to do so to evoke panic. Beautiful life presents us challenge after challenge... lets adapt and overcome - with a positive spirit, no less! An opportunity for healing indeed!

Global warming: Can't think of a better example of the consequences of our actions. This is because of that...cause and effect.
I am very happy and proud of our city that they have such an extensive recycling program. I rededicate myself to working toward a cleaner environment.
IN a thousand ways, poeple, towns, cities and countries are now going to take, if they haven't already, steps to counter their own apathy, waste, and heedless attitude thoward this planet and future generations. Tahnk God.
