Who can make sense of what has happened over the course of the past several days in the wake of hurricane Katrina and the devastation that has taken place?
yes, absolutely. It is hard to bear, but the Divine is ever present.
I know there are some who would take that as meaning that this is somehow, "punishment", but I don't see any evidence for that. And its pretty damn insulting to suggest that a newborn baby or others in a similar state "needs" punishement.
Man punishes himself pretty darn good enough. And for the rest there are trials and tests.
I hope and pray that we are not tested like this again, but I suspect there will be others...
